About me
My name is Amalie Egebjerg Jespersen (1999). I have a Proffession Bachlor form The Royal Danish Academy of Craft in Glass and Ceramics 2025.
I move in the ceramics world with a curious approach.
I work figurative, where the functional objects becomes my canvas.
I try not to restrain myself to rules or keeping the same style and methods.
I incorporate other materials when working with ceramics and finding joy in seeing how the different materials communicate together.
I like to mimic the abstract human world; the ugly, disgusting and brutal, fascinates me.

What have I done so far?
I use materials as an extension of a language that goes beyond borders to alter the world we see, and enhance the qualities that I find curious.
When working with clay, I move around in different methods and techniques, combining them and trying to find new expressions.
